Some are Phuket tourists who are currently unable to return to the island due to the ban on boats leaving port. The Ao Nang Tourist Police say that lots of tourists from Phi Phi Island have been arriving at a pier in Krabi City as piers in Phuket have been closed since yesterday afternoon. Some of them are unable to return to Phuket at this stage.
