An unusually lighthearted post on the immigration website showed Region 2 immigration police take down a black man wanted for illegal entry and overstay in Thailand.

The post began in the manner of the lyrics of a song and ended with the punchline:

"You thought you'd get away but we'll find you wherever you are".

Six arrests were made in total at a business premises in Samrong Neua, Samut Prakan south east of Bangkok.

why is the man's colour relevant?

when caucasians are refereed to in headlines/articles the phrase 'white man' is never used.

As I understand it, falang refers to caucasians. For example Japanese or Taiwanese are not falang.

Maybe we're trying to project Western Liberal values on to Thais?

Don't turn it into a race or colour thing they are just pointing it out so what, the point is he is an overstayer who happens to be black come on stop this nonsense

When red and blue light are combined, the result is magenta. When green and blue light are combined, they make cyan. Red and green light make yellow. And when all three primary colors of light are combined, we see white light.

with paint, white paint reflects all colors while black paint absorbs all colors.

I'm stunned BJ is so efficient.  Over stayers must shaking in fear.  He can also change his mind quickly about an 18 year old youth escaping Saudi Arabia (In Thailand youths can be as old as 30, not sure why the news uncharacteristically called her a woman) after international press asked questions and lying didn't work.

Why is their mentioning his color relevant?  Oh wait I know... because RAYCISS! RAYCISS! RAYCISS!!!  REEEE!!!  REEEE!!!!!!!  He's black.  That's a general description as given by the police.  And the fact that he's on overstay is his crime not being black as you are insinuating.

Wasn't the word caucasian was introduced not to be racist as it includes people like The Kurds Armenians etc.?
