A royal irrigation project engineer was killed when his pickup crashed against a roadside tree in Phitsanulok’s Muang district early on Tuesday.

The Muang Phitsanulok police station was alerted of the accident on the Ban Jomthong-Ban Pakthok road in Moo 3 village in Tambon Jomthong at 12.05am.

Panit Parnsombat, 30, was the engineer for the Kwae Noi Bamrung Daen irrigation project of the 3rd Phitsanulok Royal Irrigation Office.

His pickup flipped and hit a tree in a curve of the road, hurling his body through the windshield. He was then crushed by his own pickup.

Police believe the pickup was being driven too fast, causing Panit to lose control at the curve.

Body through screen = no seat belt. Sorry for the tree!

Klunk-click every trip ... they were invented & fitted to every modern vehicle for a very good reason.

Unfortunately you can't convince everyone!
