Diarrhea for over 6 months

Recommended Posts

I've been experiencing Diarrhea almost every day for over 6 months

I'd always assumed it was due to mixing spicy food, alcohol and coffee, but i've always done this and was never an issue living here last year

I've recently tried cutting out all 3 and not seeing any change

I have no other symptoms other than (explosive) Diarrhea.

So is it that my body is still in healing mode or could it be something like parasites?

I drink 4-5 large bottles of water a day so not sure if hydration is the issue

Water actually triggers it first thing in the morning

had same problem last year, went to hospital did gastrointestinal endoscopy and they found bacteria, doctor prescribed antibiotic and some other pills, couple days later felt a big difference and it has been good ever since.... don't wait too long, it's worth the money

Would SHITaki mushrooms not be better?

Shitake is good. Try reishi first. Maitake is also good. I think all three are really beneficial to a Thai expat's health.

Quit kidding yourself - Go to a hospital or clinic with a reputable Doctor.

that's the challenging part

I assume as I have no serious symptoms like pain/blood/vomitting etc. the doctor will just save face and feed me a cocktail of useless meds. that's my usual experience anyway

Mushrooms in any but small quantities will make you go to the bathroom a lot.
