rooster59
11-year-old girl first to sit on PM's chair on Children's Day By The Nation An 11-year-old girl from the St Francis Xavier School in Nonthaburi was the first student to sit on the prime minister's seat at Government House on National Children's Day. Officials allowed children to form a long queue at 7.30am to have an opportunity to sit on the seat of the most powerful position in the kingdom, as part of the long-held custom on Children's Day. Pawornrisa Chaiwatmalakul, a student of the St Francis Xavier Muang Thong Thani, was first in the queue. She said she got up at 5am to make preparations and she arrived at Government House at 7am. She said she had a strong urge to sit on the chair and she was very happy to get the chance. She wished Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha good health and extended her moral support for him to continue his work as prime minister. dcnx
I thought the most powerful position is the royal throne. Either way, I hope she kowtowed her way into the chair and gave appropriate wais to her masters.

Well I doubt she would threaten her critics with "a punch in the face", plus any cardboard cut-out of her would be cheaper too, given the smaller size required. Eligius
Note how the Nation still loves to call him the 'prime minister'. They have not even got the guts - which Kaosod have - to call him what he really is ...
Basil B
I hope the seat was not already occupied, some people may get the wrong idea...
alphaflight
Maybe the PM should have helped a Saudi teen looking for asylum in his "great" country on children's day? Thais are always looking to show the world how great they all are. Fake unless the cameras are rolling.....
