Putmak
I have an SETV, and will be looking to apply for a 30 day extension towards the end of the original 60 days. My question is what would be regarded by immigration to be reasonable reasons for extension, other than “ I just want to extend my holiday for 30 more days”....? BritTim
As you can tell from the above, virtually anything other than "work illegally" or "employ the services of prostitutes" will be fine.

elviajero
Write the reason for extension as ‘Tourism’. They will not want any more details.

Caldera
Keep it as simple as possible, most immigration officers can barely read English anyway. I've never written more than just "tourism" and have never been asked for more details.

shadowofacloud
I always write "vacation". Extended multiple times and never had any issues here.
