BANGKOK, 15 January 2019 (NNT) - Thailand's Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is implementing its 20-year Anti-Corruption Master Plan (2017-2036), aimed at promoting concerted cooperation among all sectors of society in preventing and suppressing corruption, as well as developing "Zero Tolerance and Clean Thailand.”

NACC secretary-general Worawit Sukboon said the 20-year National Strategy (2017-2036), the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, Phase Three (2017-2021) and the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2017-2021) have been used as frameworks in implementing the 20-year Anti-Corruption Master Plan.

The master plan is designed to create an anti-corruption culture and mechanisms that are effective in fighting corruption and are recognized internationally.

It consists of four major strategies. The first strategy seeks to cooperate with all sectors in raising awareness of building a culture of honesty, and it encourages them to join anti-corruption efforts. In the second strategy, pro-active operations will be launched to develop anti-corruption systems and mechanisms, so that corruption cases will decline and most state agencies will pass the NACC’s Integrity and Transparency Assessment.

The third strategy seeks to enhance efficiency in combating corruption. Related laws will be improved to keep pace with the changing situation and for effective enforcement. The fourth strategy aims to increase the management efficiency of the NACC by developing the capacity of its personnel, technology and anti-corruption communication system.

Worawit, you cannot be serious.:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

NACC pledges fight against graft, well first you need to get rid of all those running the country, all local officials, all police.

Then start with a clean sheet, then maybe you will have a chance of success.

What a pathetically empty bag of turds. Here we have the NACC, specifically set-up and empowered to combat corruption, saying that they're now thinking of implementing the 20-yr Anti-Corruption Master Plan (2017-2036) . . . having evidently concluded that for 18 years the 1999 to 2017 phase didn't do much combating . . .  oh, please, hold me up somebody.

Oct 13, 2018 published on the Royal Gazette.

Now it is starting to unravel and take solid foot. Not just this, but the 20yr Junta stronghold. Also today was rubber, and with this the NACC, and then next and then next as each sector is ordered to instate their piece of the Junta pie.

The 20-year national strategy has imposed a penalty which could lead to an impeachment of the next election governments,”

Would be interesting to know how much the budget is they received for their Master Plan, and how much will be left of it by August 2019.

as long as govt agencies can make extra money this will never happen, they trot this bull sh*t out every couple of years and nothing ever gets done. Until they clean up all govt agencies and actually do more than an inactive post it will keep happening, jail time, loss of pensions, loss of job are the only answer plus the seizure of all bank accounts and properties paid for by the graft/corrupt collection of money, will never stop

I have said before the NACC is only there for two reasons.

1. To protect stupid politicians and senior civil servants who foolishly expose themselves to accusations of corruption. General "watches" Prawit is the perfect example.

2. To prosecute and find guilty any person of the name Shinawatra of any crime already on the statute books or any new one they can think up and apply retrospectively.
