Brought forward? No one in authority has talked about bringing it forward. Must be an option being evaluated to see if they can pull off an election before the other parties can mount much of a campaign. Might be cheaper and easier than trying to postpone the election so they can buy more votes.

Students and members of the public yesterday joined a movement at Khon Kaen University calling for a speedy election. Protests are planned today and tomorrow for Burapha University in Chon Buri province, Silpakorn University in Nakhon Pathom province, Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai province and in front of Government House in Bangkok. The pot is starting to boil. This needs to be brought to conclusion with an election before there is bloodshed. It certainly appears that the delays will continue indefinitely until the junta leaders die of old age. The credibility of the junta is at zero after so many empty promises and it appears the people have had enough.
