In scenes like the movies Pattaya Update News reported a street fight with weapons then a police chase through Pattaya earlier this morning.

Two injured Chinese men were taken to Pattaya Memorial hospital after an argument in the road behind Lotus in North Pattaya. Witnesses around 1.30 am reported seeing clubs and other hand held weapons.

Members of the public took pictures at the scene that have been given to police.

One of the injured men was named as nineteen year old Huang Wanyou.

Police chased two vehicles to the North Pattaya intersection on Sukhumvit Road. One was a white SLK 200 Mercedes Benz and the other a black Toyota Alphard van. Both had Bangkok plates.

The Alphard driver Zhang Hongxing, 28, had a wound to his arm and was covered in sandy dust. The Benz driver was Cao Lei, 33.

A search of the vehicles uncovered a knife and a rubber truncheon.

Thanks for reminding us that crime in Thailand is exclusive to Pattaya.

Less than that in the UK, can pick them up for less than £5K.  But in Thailand cars are far more expensive, especially German imports.  On the other hand baseball bats are pretty cheap! ????

I wouldn't have thought many "international families" were out and about at 01:30 and, unless

they are regular readers of Thai visa news, would be completely unaware of this event.

By German imports you mean taxis classed as luxury vehicles.

Cheapskates.  In HK last week they used a BMW X5 and X6 to ram another vehicle into a central divider and then attacked it with machetes.  The occupants decided not to get out.

Looks like there are some turf wars going on.

The 2 parties are 2 owners of sex shows. They had an arranged meeting to discuss “customer stealing “ by each other from each other.

one of the owners would not accept any agreement and fight broke out.

the ones in the hospital are the owners of one of the sex show places. In total 4 were injured , 2 seriously and 2 lightly.

polive are aware of who is who , problem is dealing with them as both are membership paying members ????
