oskar55
Hello, on my tourist visa application where it asks for residence - which should I put? When i arrive, I'll be staying in a hotel for a night and then the rest of my stay will be in my girlfriend's apartment in bangkok. Which address should I put? Does it really matter? jackdd
If you are talking about the "Proposed address in Thailand" field, this can be left empty for tourist visas. Same with the two fields below which ask for a guarantor

oskar55
At the bottom of the application it says everything must be filled. What if you dont have references what would you do?
ubonjoe
They do not normally require the references. Address for here could be your girl friends address.

It’s doesn’t really matter which address you put. I would put the hotel address.
Caldera
Although I've never seen explicit instructions to do so (or otherwise), I always fill in the address where I will spend the first night back in Thailand. Same on the arrival card. I think, for a tourist entry, that's the most appropriate option. In the fields for local and Thai guarantors or references, I always write "N/A" instead of just leaving them blank, so every field gets filled in as instructed. That has never caused any trouble and, again, should be appropriate when applying for a tourist visa.
