Swiss man accused of theft and overstaying visa faces deportation

Low pressure from China will confine air pollution in Bangkok for next 7 days

Air pollution in and around Bangkok is expected to remain bad if not worse in the next seven days due to the onset of low pressure from China which will keep PM2.5 dust particles hovering in the area from spreading out, said Deputy Prime Minister Chatchai Sarikulya.

Drunk cycling will soon be considered legal offence with 500 baht fine

Drunk bicyclists who are currently immune to litigation because there is no law to make drunk cycling an offence will in the near future face a fine of 500 baht under a new traffic bill which passed the first reading of the National Legislative Assembly on Thursday.
