Since becoming a constitutional monarchy in 1932, Thailand has seen 27 general elections. The first one took place in November 1933. The latest was held in February 2014, although it was later declared unconstitutional by the court.

THAI AND MUNICIPAL authorities mounted a successful campaign years ago to control air pollution involving PM10 – particulate matter 10 microns in diameter or more. The problem since then – one that’s steadily worsening and more difficult to curb – is PM2.5.

Thai retail groups petition PM for multiple duty-free concessions

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Retail groups in Thailand on Friday petitioned Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha for the upcoming duty-free auction at the country's key airport to be held as multiple concessions, instead of a master concession.
