Being A Kept Man In LOS

This happened to me the first time I came to Thailand. I was a youngish guy back then with an older Thai woman. Initially I had no intentions of staying with her (at the time I just wanted something casual) but she wanted a relationship. I had met her at a dinner party a few weeks earlier and she gave me the eye all night. After dinner she invited me to a cocktail bar where we drank all night and got on like a house on fire. I must admit, for an older woman she looked fantastic. She had slightly brown skin but not dark, long black hair and a smile that would knock any man off their feet.

 

She invited me back to her place. I accepted.

 

All night and the next morning she was talking about how she doesn't want me to leave and would do anything I want to keep me there. I started thinking.... Should I stay here with this girl and be her kept man? The thought of it at that age tantalized me. I said I was open to spending more time with her and she immediately asked if I would accompany her to the Hilton Hotel in Hua Hin the following Monday. She was going to be there at a business conference all week and fancied a bit of company. Needless to say I accepted, and we had an absolute blast. Throughout our stay in Hua Hin, she was constantly making reference to us being together and possibly making a family together. At that time I was not in any kind of employment so I asked her outright "What will I do for money?" "No problem, she replied. I will take care you." 

WOW I thought, normally it is the other way around, especially in this part of the world, but here is a woman offering to keep me with her and take care of all my financial requirements just for being with her. I didn't have an awful lot going for me back home so it didn't take me long to deliberate with myself. I said yes, and my fairytale lifestyle in Thailand (or so I thought) began.

 

The first few months were good. I thoroughly enjoyed having a sugar mamma take me out for dinner, buy me whatever I wanted and go on vacation on weekends etc. But after those initial few months I really, really started to miss my financial independence. The problem with being a kept man (IMO) is that you effectively become her slave. You get to have whatever you want when you want it, but she in turn get's to control you through her money. Once the novelty wears off and the boredom sets in of being unemployed and aimless, you start to have regrets and think about leaving. Around that time we began to fight a lot also, she became really controlling and would scold me for even looking at another woman, especially the younger student types. I can recall one evening on Koh Samed, we were watching the fire show after our seafood platter on the beach when a stunning young girl with a great behind walked past our table. My eyes were firmly transfixed on her rear, then all of a sudden she slapped me right across my face and said "if you want her, go with her then." I thought that this was a massive overreaction and we continued to fight for the rest of the evening.

 

Once we arrived back home we spent the next few weeks in separate bedrooms, until one morning I woke her up with the sound of me packing my bags. I had had enough and was leaving for the single life once more, but with my independence and self esteem in tact. In my opinion, being a kept man sure sounds great at first (at least to me it did) but after a while, ultimately us men need more than just money and a roof over our heads. We need independence, self respect and dignity.

 

Anybody else had any experience with a Sugar Mama? Here or elsewhere? I would be interested to hear other peoples stories and how they felt about it.

my ex wife's father had 100 million dollars. it was nice for five years but then divorce and I had to fly on "public airlines" again as my ex father in law would say.

How did you feel after the divorce? Do you miss being a kept man at all?

no not really. i sort of missed the ski trips and private jets. the family would fly to Sun Valley to their private compound and Napa Valley for lunch!  all from Santa Monica airport in Los Angeles.

I was run out of the USA by all the women I pissed off.

Similar thing happened to me back home. 

 

Seems that most of the women I decided to have casual relations with (unbeknownst to me) back then were also extreme feminists. My card was marked every weekend I went out after work: "Don't go with him, the boy's bad news."

 

So I came to Asia

Truth is that there are plenty of very wealthy Thai women, often very successful in their own right who have one or several young Thai men in tow.

 

I did several organizational consulting projects for one such lady over about 4 years and I got to know her very well and many times she openly talked about her 'men', I got to know many of the details.

 

Very very successful business woman, all legitimate engineering work, very pleasant, about 45 yo looked 25 yo, quite slim and fit, total staff around 200, all Thai, who she treated very well, very quick to help in cases of family sickness etc.

 

She has an enormous house in the Soi Aree area (with staff: drivers, cooks, maids, gardeners etc., but not living in). And:

 

- 5 young Thai men live in, 20 to 30 yo 

- all have their own suite within the very large house; bedroom, sitting area, nice bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, study area with all up to date notebooks, printers etc., , all have a nice salary and a clothing allowance, all have a big bike which is registered in their own name / their absolute property, they all receive a nice allowance to pass to their parents every month

- all macho good looking, fit, very pleasant, none are loud or ott, all speak intermediate to advanced English, in most cases intensive professional classes after they joined the 'family' , 1 or 2 also speak some Chinese

- the lady concerned insists they all attend university, subject / degree their choice

- on days off from uni they work in her office, Sundays they have freedom unless she has a special request

- the 'family' takes turns to accompany her on overseas business trips

- no secrets, the house and office staff know the arrangements

 

- main rule - all have to be at home at 8.00 pm every day for 'family dinner'

- after dinner she decides who will sleep with her that night

 

- occasionally she selects 2 guys to sleep with her

- she's bi-sexual, occasionally she brings another girl for a threesome

- she likes to watch 2 young men having sex, occasionally she tells of of the family boys to find another boy to come in and do a show for her to watch and she requires that they are bisexual to join the 'family'. 

 

After I completed several consulting projects for her she invited me to an expensive dinner and she invited 10 of her very successful business women friends, she made a short introduction about the work I had done and that she was very pleased and recommended my work to the other ladies.

 

Over a period of time  I did work for many of her friends, all very open and very pleasant and I learned 2 out of 10 of these ladies also had a team of young men, all had different 'living' etc., arrangements.

I especially like the part about her choosing who she is going to sleep with after dinner. She sounds like a real cougar who knows what she wants.
