finy
Does Malaysia have a problem with people using the border to do their 2 border jumps per year? I have a lot of tourist visas in my passport, so I'm stuck going to Savannakhet at the moment. I'm going to be down south for a month and I'm trying to work out if it's worth staying longer. It would take around 6 days to leave and return to Samui, so it would be great if I could just shoot down to the border and back in 2 days to use my last VOA this year for extra few months. It's not like being refused to leave at Mae Sai and I need to know if I'll be allowed back in before I try it. Cheers
problemfarang
why you cant go to savanakhet? You can get as many visas as you can... problem is the IO when entering thailand.. and if your passport is already full of TR visas and makes problem.. then you will have problem probably every border...
ubonjoe
Thai immigration at the Malaysian border will often tell you that you need to stay overnight. You should have a 20k baht in cash in case you are asked to show it. Many people go to Ranong from Samui to cross over to Myanmar. 1
