MOSCOW (Reuters) - A model from Belarus who claimed to have evidence of Russian interference in U.S. President Donald Trump's election was freed from Russian police custody on Tuesday, but remains a suspect in an unrelated criminal case, the TASS news agency reported.

Anastasia Vashukevich and three others were detained upon arrival at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport on Thursday after being deported from Thailand.

Russian authorities have said they suspect her of forcing women into prostitution, a charge that carries a jail sentence of up to three years.

Vashukevich, who is also known as Nastya Rybka, has previously said she was in possession of recordings of conversations on interference in the U.S. election through an association with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. Deripaska's representatives have accused her of fabrication and said she was never his mistress.

I guess she'll just slide into obscurity and go back to boffing for a living.

It is not clear if she is free to leave Russia and return to Belarus. And if she must remain in Russia, if she will be incarcerated again.

Have you got any contact info please?

Hopefully she will be in FKK Oase or Palace when I get there in the spring for my spa experience before heading home to summer obscurity

Deripaska and his cronies in the Kremlin did whatever it took to arrange her arrest in Moscow. We know she was paid to shut up and issue the apology ... but how much was paid (and to who?) for the convenient exit routing? It was all arranged. The undercover team that greeted her were well rehearsed. The simul raid on homes of their relatives in Moscow showed it was all well coordinated. We know a Russian contingent met with local authorities shortly after her arrest in Thailand a year ago. There's a lot more to this story that reveals how money buys justice.

Followup story says she is feeling ill after release and suffering swelling so did not appear at press conference with her attorney in Moscow.  My guess is she has already been given her dose of exotic radioactive poison during her Moscow detention.
