Paul Laycock1 Posted January 25, 2019 Share Posted January 25, 2019 If your flying into Ubon I doubt if your the only one trying to get to Mukdahan, try getting a lift with someone and share the cost. Are you going to Savannaket? Other options would be cab to the Ubon bus station then aircon on bus to Mukdahan. Journey time about 3 hours. Up to you and finances. Tagaa Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 There are regularly scheduled big buses from Ubon to Muk many times every day. There is a small bus/van service from Ubon to Muk every 30 minutes (white van with green & yellow stripe). Every time I get on 212 or go into town I see one passing through or stopping to drop off or pick up passengers. The vans are about 400 Bt, IIRC. There are also 2 bus services that run from the airport to 2 different hotels in Muk. They are scheduled with the arrival & departures of 2 different airline flights into the Ubon airport.
