U.S. "letter" paper in Bangkok

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I can buy U.S. letter-size (8.5"x11") printer paper in Bangkok?  Or, alternatively, someplace that will cut a ream of a larger size down to 8.5 by 11?

Thanks.

Years ago, when US had actual requirement to use letter size for some things, (OCR were not so smart) was able to find in Foodland and office supply stores sometimes had (if they did search).  Believe some of the sprocket fan fold paper is letter size after sprocket tabs removed.  Have not had any need for letter size in last decade or more.

Have looked in the past, and never been able to find any here.

I usually bring it back as needed from trips to the U.S.

 Why not use A4?

I do, but sometimes have use for regular U.S. letter size. Like U.S. binders that don't fit well with A4.

In days past it was not allowed; in some cases due to OCR computer reading requirement that printed copy letter be exactly the same size and fact many Letter format pages would not print in the A4 page width.  Today printer software can easily shrink to fit and it seems OCR readers can adapt to it but suspect some may still require.  Do not know OP reason but suspect many Americans would go blastic with an A4 paper not matching their filing system.

Many office shops (OfficeMate and even at MAKRO) have "F14" paper which is 8.5 by 14 (256 by 356 mm).

So only to be cut in length by 3 inches.

Where to cut (if not DIY)?

Can't tell for Bangkok, but all those print shops that do banners etc. have cutting devices.

OfficeMate's own-brand, but they also have DoubleA:
