Letseng
Please can anybody tell me where I can get crutches without buying from the overpriced hospitals. May be there is a shop in the Sukhumvit/Ploenchit/Chidlom area? Tks
Nyezhov
On Rama IV near Sala Daeng BTS across from King Chulalonkorn Hosp there are a bunch of pharmacies. I used Chula Besaj. Just get off at Sala daeng, head towards the park and go left across Silom west on Rama IV
richard_smith237
Following 'twisted ankle incident' I purchased some for my nephew a couple of years ago on Sukhumvit road... I think they were about 1200 baht for a pair.... I can't remember exactly where on Sukhumvit - but they are definitely available at some 'medical supply' shops. EDIT: Southeast pharmacy near Sukhumvit Soi 15 sells crutches...

Sheryl
On Rajawithi Road near Victory Monument, north side of street, there are several pharmacies that sell medical devices as well. You can also get them online from lazada, both the elbow and under arm types. If buying online make sure it is height adjustible. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/forearm-crutch-disability-crutches-intl-i232382954-s356230489.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.24.1ca149189QaAT1&search=1 https://www.lazada.co.th/products/flamingo-flamingo-classic-under-arm-crutches-folding-assembling-type-i245878850-s378576904.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.40.1ca14918UgzQ9O&search=
