NamH2O
Hi,can anyone give me any info/advice on adding my Lao Wife To my extension of stay based on retirement. Thanks NamH2o
ubonjoe
Same as for a wife from any other country. The first step is for her to get a single entry non-o visa from a embassy or consulate. She will need to show your marriage certificate (translated if not in Thai or English) plus a copy, copies of your passport photo page and extension of stay stamp. Then during the last 30 days of the 90 day entry from the non-o visa apply for the extension at immigration. The marriage certificate will need to be legalized by the embassy of the country that issued it or an authority in that country.

Only 800k baht in the bank for his extension. There is no financial requirements for a family member to get an extension based upon his.
