Somehow I am pretty sure few guys wouldn't like this scenario. And who cares if it's appropriate or not? In the States they kept calling my wife my daughter when we went out to eat. It was embarrassing. In Thailand when my grand daughters come to visit and we go out to eat they call them my wife.
Puchaiyank
worn-out, bad attitude, entitlement, foul mood, nothing is ever good enough, dried up, hairy upper lip, flabby, flabby, and extra flabby, etc... Trujillo
I'm not sure what is "appropriate," but for me, when I was 30 or even 40 years old, the very thought of having any sort of intimate relations with a 70-year-old woman would have made me gag. While some men may age better than others, the fact is that no one looks ... how shall I say? "inviting" at 70+. Even with the financial incentives that go along with these younger women attaching themselves to aging gentlemen, I often look at the physical differences and think, "Boy, he must be putting out a lot of cash for that model." And then, "Boy, how can she canoodle up to that shriveled up husk of a dude (usually, but not always, with an oversized belly to boot)? Who said money can't buy me love? ???? I knew a guy in his late 40s who was "going with" a girl of 16.

And it seems they have a real problem even with a combination like 30 year old guy and 25 year old woman. But the problem is obviously in the heads of some people. It's their problem, not the couples problem. if 30 with 25 is a problem, then they clearly got mental issues.
Lacessit
I don't know what age gap is appropriate. Having said that, at 75 my gap with my GF is 23 years. No, she's not 98, smartasses. Trying to keep up with a 25 yo IMHO would be suicide by exhaustion. Man's got to know his limitations.

animalmagic
I'm 59 and look 69 but my wife is 49 and looks 39; people judge, people want to be shocked and condemn. Walking through basement of Central Festival during Xmas time with my niece I thought I'd check reactions and held her hand. She is 20, very tall and pale skinned, and could pass for our daughter even though both her parents are Thai. My wife followed behind to observe. Did not see much reaction from Thais. Farang men were about 50/50 in admiration or disgust. Farang women seemed mainly shocked and disgusted. Japanese man started smiling and drooling until his wife smacked him round the head and looked daggers at me. Niece saw the funny side of it and we went to the checkout counter with four Korean beers, the beers were for my wife and my niece got a free poster of a Korean Boyband. My niece placed the four cans on the counter looked at me sweetly and said in her best English, 'You have to buy these I'm not old enough!' She's learned not to judge by appearances. Kerryd
It works both ways, but apparently it's only an issue when it's a guy dating a younger woman. (Except when the 27 year old Playmate married the 89 year old Texas millionaire - but otherwise it's not an issue normally).
stevkob
We often hear the phrase "dirty old man" yet if you really think about it what is really dirty about it? I believe it is just propaganda sourced from insecure women with dwindling attractiveness who know that men can go on chasing younger females well into twilight years. To be fair, if an old man can be classified as dirty due to his relationship. then his 20 something girlfriend could be called dirty young woman? I've never heard that insult, have you?
