Forethat
Does anybody out there know if Eliquis is available over the counter in Thailand?
Christophers200
It is listed in MIMS as being available but likely only in large pharmacies/hospitals. Being an import expect it to be expensive.
Sheryl
It is a "special controlled drug", prescription only which in Thailand means usually only hospitals carry it. And yes, very expensive.

I take it for AF, expensive but better than a stroke as Sheryl said it needs to be prescribed by a doctor so you get the right dose but you dont need to get it at the hospital where is it more expense, you can get at fascino without prescription as a cost savings alternative. I buy all my medicine there
Shuguk
I`m on Eliquis 5mg (also known as Apixaban). One thing to note is that a dentist might refuse to extract a tooth because of the blood element. My dentist refused to extract and has referred me to a specialist hospital here in Scotland (I`m on 3 months Scotland, 3 months Thailand). Unfortunately there`s a waiting list of over a year. I`m hoping, however, if pain I could get an emergency appointment.
