CptnAhab
Please excuse my sloppy english, i'm no NES. I'm in LOS on extension of stay (retirement). Sometimes i need to book a hotel more or less near my standard registered residence. My landlady is my gf, and i'm sure you all can imagine why i need to book a hotel away from home sometimes. ???? My problem: My gf needs to register me at immigration every time i come back from visits to my homecountry in europe with TM30 i think. No problem to do that! But, what happens if a hotel registers my ONS there online as they need to do as far as i know. Will i need to ask my Landlady-gf to fill in a new TM30 the next day when i'm back home? If yes, we probably will have very well fed ducks the next day! Anybody knows about this problem or has a solution? Or maybe no need for new TM30 when staying in a hotel not far from registered residence? Please help!
jackdd
- Use a "resort" they don't ask for an ID - Check in using just the girls ID card, say you forgot your passport if they ask
orang37
Get out of town. Be one of the wounded for whom the term "walking" still applies. ~o:37;
CptnAhab
Thanks Jackdd! But sorry, resorts also ask for id as required by law! (recent experience in a tiny resort near Khon Kaen)

ubonjoe
Most immigration offices do not require a new TM30 report after staying in a hotel. I don't recall any reports of Khon Kaen wanting one.
