This thread makes a refreshing change from the SOS of a farang being conned by a Thai. Although having said that, I've found all the Thais I deal with on a daily basis are honest. Perhaps that's because I'm in Chiang Mai, not Pattaya.

a few years ago my gf at the time introduced me to one of her friends who tried to involve me in one of these schemes. it was so obviously dodgy that i laughed.
