 My Mom always warned me,

"When new to a place, keep your mouth shut and your ears and eyes open"

She seems like a nice lady but I recommend to her she heeds the above advice.

If she is trying to make a name for herself, the danger is always, that she makes a bad one.

A politician is like a streeper who dances from leg to leg but makes her living in the middle.

Of course she can only be so outspoken because she is in such a safe district. Her only future opposition would be a a Democrat who runs to the right of her, and if we've learned anything it is that the populous is sick of centrist right wing Democrats. They'll elect a Republican instead.

Anyway, I like her. Yeah, she gets some stuff wrong, but I can live with that. What I fear most is that she morphes into a Pelosi or Waters type; a corrupt corporate stooge.

If her agenda is to be reelected, then perhaps she is playing the right game, if her intent is to help govern, then IMO she needs to talk less and listen more, until she knows what she is talking about. As far as Pelosi is concern, that's another story for another thread, but I disagree with your assertion of her.

How about that little country called the USA?

New deal was America's greatest economies era.

More recently Bill Clinton cleaned up the Bush's debt then Obama reduced the other Bush's debt and pulled the world outta Bush's great recession...

Some re-writing of history here.

The bail-out of Wall Street in 2008/9 occurred at the very end of Dubya's regime and Obama was brought in, as the likely winner in November 2008, to "approve" what the Wall St/Treasury duopoly were going to do to "save" the system.

Bush's "great recession" is still with us, despite the mountains of dollars created under QE. (So, yes, Obama did sweet FA to cure the ills of the system). And sometime (looks like very soon) the USA is going to find itself paying a high price for its monumental indebtedness.

In other words, it's false to blame one party or the other for the poverty of the USA today....both parties are guilty, because both parties are run by the lobbyists of the military/industrial complex.
