Chiang Mai for about 6 years now.  First 2-3 were pretty nice but now it's lost the appeal for me.

The things keeping me here are good food, adult massages, and inertia.  I've taken out a one year Vietnam visa and will visit Danang  soon for the purpose of seeing if I want to relocate there.  Otherwise it'll be back to the USA in August when my visa here expires, where I will plan my next destination.

hi, i'd love to hear about it, how accessible things are with a bike, if theres power -outs, some pics wouldnt hurt either

I have no regrets. I am leaving but that is because of circumstances in my own life, and I was planning to do that before recent changes in extension requirements. Thailand has been good to me, a good place to live, and may be again in a few years.
