I need to see a urologist for prostate-related issues; does anyone happen to know what the doctors at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital charge for the first appointment (as well as some other reputable hospitals in Pattaya)? KiChakayan Posted February 10, 2019 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Based on my experience, 1500 to 2000. But be prepared, they will try to flog drugs at an exorbitant rates. Finasteride for instance will be at least 100 to 150 THB daily. My urologist in Buriram sells them for 10 Bahts a pill. Otherwise these hospitals have terrific diagnostic facilities. When I request pre-authorisation for my MRIs, my insurance puts them down as day surgery refunded 100%, may because they consider them as treatment because I am under active surveillance for cancer.
