Off topic. The OP was CRUMPETS not CRUMPET. Completely different.

Sorry, I'll try harder.

The again if I said 'I had a crumpet for breakfast', then I'm correct.

Yep, compulsory, with margarine / butter and vegemite.

I might have to actually find vegemite online and give it a try.

Something tells me however, this is one of those things that you need to have grown up with.

Not something you discover in your latter years!

If you can’t find any just smear hot engine oil on your tongue !!
It’s the same emoji51.png

Maybe if that the alternative, I may  reevaluate  my decision to try to find vegemite online! LOL

Interesting to note that this thread about crumpets is the biggest on TV this week.

Sod Immigration money, extensions, visas, girlfriends, wives, etc....stick with the crumpets !

When I joined TVF I think it was all about bars, bargirls, ladyboys, cons and scams etc ( been a while so I don't remember everything discussed ), now it's about where is the best pizza and crumpets! What the <deleted> happened to TVF since then?

People got old !!

I’m thinking about starting a thread about “ where to find comfortable shoes”

By a quirk of fate, my monthly crumpets turned up today.

btw for the Brits, is that right, crumpet also means women?

Depending on the context, crumpet according to the urban dictionary means hot chick, though I always took it to mean having sex, ie "having a bit of crumpet".

As a Brit , to me , it always means “ hot chick “, as in “ went down the club last night, full of crumpet “.

Although I might add it’s an older metaphor and rarely used today !
