BANGKOK — The Election Commission on Monday afternoon declared that the eldest daughter of the late King Bhumibol cannot compete in the upcoming election as a candidate for prime minister.

Three foreign couples among 17 taking the plunge during Trang’s underwater wedding

WINTER in Thailand will be over next week, the Meteorological Department announced yesterday. Even though the smog problem is expected to improve nationwide once winter ends, the arrival of summer brings along a new problem – water shortage.
