With Valentine’s Day looming on the calendar this week, one proactive mom has been relentlessly trying to find her son a date.

The unidentified mother has been so persistent that police at Towson University in Maryland have warned female students about her behavior.

Campus police recently released an ‘incident advisory’ asking for the community’s help to identify the woman – who they say has scoured the library looking for a date for her son.

The mother is described to be in her 50s and was spotted approaching students in two campus buildings last week, according to KTLA.

According to university police, she has showed multiple women a picture of her son on her cellphone and asked them if they would consider dating him.

University Police Chief Charles Herring said her reported behavior ‘may cause concern.’

According to authorities, the woman is not wanted for a criminal investigation, but they would like to locate her so they can ask her to stop.

As the story of this matchmaking mother has been shared online, people have began to express their deepest sympathies towards her son.
