Israeli election: More "King Bibi" or bye-bye Bibi?

For the third time this year, the Israeli police have recommended that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be charged with taking bribes, fraud and breach of trust, this time accusing him of performing official favors for a telecommunications and media conglomerate in exchange for adoring coverage by its news subsidiary.

That case and two others now await a decision by the attorney general, Avichai Mandelblit, on whether to indict Mr. Netanyahu. If he does, it would be the first time in Israel’s history that a sitting prime minister faced criminal charges.

And this, from the Israeli national newspaper. Please, do some research. Read up on this madman:

The Iranian lie turns Netanyahu into the most dangerous man for the country’s security. But as befits a great leader, if he is able to bring about the cancellation of the nuclear agreement, he will become the most dangerous man in the world. A considerable achievement for someone who buys submarines from a company that is considering investment options in Iran.

Allegations of corruption  do not prove corruption .

Also, the allegations are not too serious

The 'Palestinian issue' is not the most important problem facing Israel , or the whole of the Mid-east -  Iran is!!!!   Just ask Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf States.

I disagree.
If Israel makes peace with the Palestinians, the whole Arab world and Iran have agreed to make peace with Israel, exchange of ambassadors, commerce, travel etc.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_Peace_Initiative

The promise has been on the able since 2002, repeated 2007.

The prosperity that peace would entail would be mind blowing and bring detente to the entire region.

Although there has been change of governments and civil wars, the Palestinian issue is still the key.

But unfortunately Bibi and other contenders are pursuing the opposite in their election campaigns, trying to outdo each other on how tough they will be on Palestinians. So more of the same I fear whoever wins.

Complete nonsense

Its either "legal" or "illegal"

There is no such thing as being "nearly illegal"

Criticism of Israeli Politics is legal in all Countries

Legal in most countries, but „anti Semitic“. That is a weapon used politically by the Israeli propaganda machine and its affiliates.

No, its when people hold Israel to different standards, treat Israel differently because they are Jews , is when the anti semetic label is used .

Like , 600 000 Rohinga removed from their land , slight outcry and now its all forgotten about , lets get back to bashing Jews , I mean, Israelis

Nonsense. It has not been just a slight outcry by any means. Nor is it all forgotten about. Just ask Aung Suu Kyi.

And what western style democracy deprives residents of their rights the way Israel does.

May I just point out that the Rohingas are being mistreated by the Burmese and who is supplying them with arms and supporting them politically? Just guess, the innocent, peace seeking and humanistic Israel. Israel is being held to the same standard as others and the using of the label of antisemitism against critics of Israel, read Jewish publications financed by Israel, will before too long boomerang, as the „cry wolf“

I assume you're going to try and invoke the fact that Palestinians living in the occupied territories and in Jerusalem aren't technically residents of Israel. Go ahead and wave that fig leaf for all it's worth. Which is nothing.

You mean those anti-semites at Haaretz?

Editorial Israel's Dirty Arms Deals With Myanmar

Reports of the events in Myanmar have not kept the Israeli government from cooperating with those suspected of war crimes

...Israeli spokesmen justified the supplying of weapons with the claim that “both sides committed war crimes,” claims that were rejected in the UN report. The court’s ruling on the petition is classified, but according to testimony from Myanmar the weapons sales are continuing, even in the midst of the crimes.

Point being that you claimed the motivation was anti-Semitism. Also you claimed that only one weapon was being supplied to the Burmese. Got a source for that? And what post claimed that only Israel was supplying weaponry to the Burmese?

Try..
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_Law:_Israel_as_the_Nation-State_of_the_Jewish_People#Content_of_the_Basic_Law

There are over 65 discriminatory laws aimed at Israeli Palestinian citizens https://www.adalah.org/en/law/index

Dictating where they can live based on their race, what they can't commemorate, who they cannot marry (basically any other Muslim who is not already Israeli)...for starters

That's just the way Israel treats its own citizens, let alone the 4.5 million Palestinians under illegal occupation.

Havent we had this discussion a few times before ?

We just keep having the same discussion and both saying the same things , over and over again .

Why not just refresh the thread where we had this discussion last time, to save us both writing it all down again ?
