LONDON (Reuters) - Former Chelsea and England defender Ashley Cole scored his first ever goal in the FA Cup but it was not enough for Championship side Derby County as they were beaten 2-1 by Brighton and Hove Albion in the fifth round on Saturday.

DOHA (Reuters) - A group of sports bodies and broadcasters including the U.S. National Basketball Association, U.S. Tennis Association and Sky has called for the United States to add Saudi Arabia to its "priority watch list" over alleged TV piracy, filings show.

ZURICH (Reuters) - FIFA says that soccer clubs around the world, many of them small ones in Latin America and Africa, are missing out on so-called transfer compensation of around $300 million (233 million pounds) for raising young players who go on to enjoy successful careers in Europe.

(Reuters) - When Gary Martin came to work at the Henry Pratt valve manufacturing plant in Aurora, Illinois, on Friday, he was told he was being terminated from his job. Shortly thereafter, Martin pulled out his Smith & Wesson revolver and opened fire.

BATTLEFIELDS, Zimbabwe (Reuters) - Zimbabwean rescuers pulled the bodies of at least 22 illegal gold miners out of shafts west of Harare that were flooded earlier in the week, and rescued eight more alive, officials and witnesses said on Saturday.

Tham Luang cave to be closed from Feb 19

Thailand’s famous Tham Luang cave in the northern province of Chiang Rai will close to all visitors from February 19th to allow Thai Navy SEALs to recover equipment left in the cave after the international rescue mission extracted 13 members of the Wild Boar youth football team who became trapped by flooding last July.
