Kasane
Bloomberg reports that Thai baht is very strong in 2019 after a great run in 2018. Tourism is also on the rise again after a dip in 2018. These developments are great for the Thai economy, but for marginal farangs the strong Thai baht will create more financial headaches. https://www.bloomberg.com//news/articles/2019-02-17/what-can-stop-the-baht-thai-gdp-could-give-rally-further-boost?srnd=markets-vp

Cadbury
For some it is like the perfect storm. With their own currencies weakening substantially against the US dollar while the baht is relatively stable. The Australian dollar and British pound are two examples. Kasane
I wonder if the Thai economy will accelerate after the elections. The Thai baht will get even more stronger if that happens.

In any event, I doubt very much the economy will accelerate after the elections.
