Queenslander
Apologies if this has been discussed before. I am looking for a reliable, professional company in the Phuket area that can remove stains/marks/scratches from engineered timber flooring. No Thai flybynights... Any suggestions? Joe Mcseismic
Get yourself a cheap sanding machine and do it yourself. That way you know it'll get done right.
DrDave
Since engineered wood flooring is made up of a plywood substrate with a thin hardwood veneer face, make sure you don't sand all the way down through the veneer. Depending upon the quality of the flooring, the veneer face may be as little as 1mm, or as much as 2.5mm thick. Best to use a small, handheld orbital sander. Definitely don't use a belt sander, or a floor sanding machine, as you'll be through the veneer before you can stop the machine!
