Interpol Red Notice sought for Greek suspect over Phuket beautician murder

Greek national Dimitrios Chairopoulos was recorded as clearing Immigration at Phuket International Airport to board a flight to Dubai just hours after Ms Niramon was last seen alive.

 

PHUKET:-- Cherng Talay Police have filed a request for Interpol to issue Red Notice for the arrest of 42-year-old Greek national Dimitrios Chairopoulos, who is wanted for the murder of Phuket beautician Niramon Aewkaew.

Russian accused of $28m fraud to be sent to US at FBI request

A Thai court on Wednesday decided to extradite a 47year old Russian cybercrime suspect, Dmitry Ukrainsky, who is accused of stealing $28.5 million (Bt886 million) from the bank accounts of citizens of several countries, to the US.

Bus driver arrested over theft from British and Australian tourists in Kanchanaburi

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thai police said on Wednesday said they were seeking the prosecution of the leader of a new political party over a speech he made that was posted on Facebook criticising the ruling junta, just over a month before a general election.

Life imprisonment for murder of ‘insubordinate’ maid

FORMER BEAUTY contestant Krisana “Mona” Suwanpitak was jailed for life yesterday after the Ratchadapisek Criminal Court in Bangkok found her guilty of the 2012 murder of her 16-year-old maid, Jariya Srisak. The girl’s body was then buried near Krisana’s home in Phetchaburi’s Muang district to conceal the crime.

(Reuters) - A teenager who was stripped of her British citizenship after leaving London to join the Islamic State (IS) group is not a Bangladeshi citizen and there was "no question" of her being allowed to enter the country, the foreign ministry in Dhaka said on Wednesday.
