webfact
"Apply here to die and join the four other dead" - woman's sign hopes to slow down motorists A woman in Phetchabun is so fed up with the carnage on the roads outside her house that she has put up a sign. It says facetiously that people should apply here to die and join the other four who have died on this stretch recently. The sign went up on the Pak Poo - Nai Muang Road in Muang distruct of the north-central Thai city. It was the work of Jureerat, 47, who acted after four people were killed in accidents by her house. She wants to remind people to slow down and take more care, reported Sanook. Source: Sanook -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2019-02-

Ha ha, but I think it's a good idea if it has the desired effect - to reduce deaths that is. However, I wonder if the subtlety of the message will get through to local drivers here? AhFarangJa
On the one hand I can understand her wanting to cut the carnage, on the other hand is a different scenario............ Motor cycle hits back of pick up that was turning off the road......... Mr. Plod "Did you not see the pick up?" Motorcycle rider "No, I was reading that sign on the post there" Multi tasking.....Not the Nations best accomplishment.............

Ramdas
Slow down ?! Now that’s funny ! They sleep whilst driving/ riding the bikes while on the phone it else. The best option would be 1) more police car on the roads stopping unlawful motorists but most importantly enforce a proper driving training which is desperately needed for these folks ????????♂️
Ulic
The road looks in great shape so full speed ahead. Perhaps some rumble strips to remind people to slow down. Failing that, speed bumps, as much as I hate them.
