Footage taken in the aftermath of the incident showed a badly damaged black Fortuner that had crashed into the motorbikes.

People can be seen receiving treatment on the side of the road.

Any members that take their kids on scooters should look at that first picture and imagine them and their child sitting on the bike closest to impact.

Thankfully no one was killed. The Fortuna seems to have faired the worse. That's seems a lot of damage considering it crashed into some motorbikes.

While we can't say how the accident happened without further information, looking at the extent of damage to the car, excessive speed would appear to be a contributing factor. Very lucky that nobody was killed, because anyone getting hit by a car travelling as fast as it must have been going, would have had no chance, and one hopes the charges for the driver reflect that.

playing facebook more important than driving and lives

I have seen smartphones on holders right on the dash in front of the driver streaming Thai TV soaps, FB etc. The stupidity is unsurpassed, and what is even worse the police/authorities are doing nothing to stop it along with drunk driving and other moving traffic violations - the carnage continues unabated

And the driver made a run as usual?

Looking at the vids, he's there, and foreign, and not attacked.

Looks from the damage like he was doing a 100 in a 30 zone how sensible 🤔

Was it making a bit of parking space as its near impossible to find one for a car on Beach Road ..

Traffic police activity on Beach Road seems to be mostly outside the cop shop stopping motorcyclists with no helmet. They need to fan out a lot more to catch speeders and red light runners.

Is that a Fortuner spare wheel middle of the road or from some other car?

Brake failure meant he had to use the bikes to slow himself down. No way he could have been distracted by texting or chatting on the mobile. His phone records will confirm that.

Or you could be crossing the street. Will you stay indoors?
