There was a point during the investigation when a Republican was having a go at Cohen and said to him, "why should we believe you, you're a pathological liar.............".

What I would have liked to have happened next is the following: –

– Cohen: "what do you mean by pathological liar".

– Republican: "someone who continues lying and cannot help himself".

– Cohen: "so you believe such people to be untrustworthy and that they can never tell the truth?".

– Republican: "yes I do".

– Cohen: "much like Donald Trump you mean?".

And that's the ironpy of some of the questioning by the Republicans, here they are calling Cohen a liar, whilst at the same time defending Donald Trump who is a well-known liar and has proven it time after time over the years – – he just cannot help himself, he opens his mouth and lies just roll-out.

How one-eyed and stupid do the Republicans have to be before the American public realises that they haven't got an ounce of common sense between them, and Trump's supporters likewise.

All politicians lie to some extent get over it:)

It seems Cohen has a lot to tell the House Intelligence Committee, he’s been rescheduled to give continuing testimony on March 6.

Nunes, he of the ‘running to and from the WH with documents the WH gave him’ skipped out of the first session Cohen’s testimony soon after it had started.

He looked rather worried.

Ollie North famously lied to Congress about his drug- and gun-running, and he did OK. Currently President of the National Russian Rifle Association, and received a resounding Standing O at the CPAC event this week. Go figure.
