Why parents are choosing Rugby School Thailand

The positive effects of nature on health and happiness are widely recognised, which is one of the many reasons Rugby School Thailand stands apart. Sitting in an 80-acre countryside campus, this flagship division of leading independent school, Rugby UK, is a unique British international school where day and boarding children lead active lives - away from the city smog.

The school prides itself on academic excellence, but the education stretches far beyond classroom walls. Every afternoon children have time built into their school day where they do sport outside and exercise their minds with co-curricular clubs.

The range of activities is endless, with anything from cartoon drawing, slam poetry, coding and eco club, to sailing, bushcraft, rock-climbing and archery – many of which other schools simply don’t have the means to offer. Having opened its gates in September 2017, the school’s extensive facilities are first-class and brand new, with developments like a specialist aquatics centre (housing two further pools, a swim gym and a video analysis room), a second (even bigger) indoor sports hall, new boarding houses and senior class buildings, all to be unveiled soon.

In addition to many activities taking place in the inspiring green surroundings, the school also makes valuable use of its location. Rugby School Thailand has been named a ‘smart campus’, with solar powered renewable energy sources and forward-thinking sustainability initiatives active across the campus. Taking care of the world around them is something RST students see as second nature. The school mantra – the whole person, the whole point – is served in everything we do, developing children who are curious about the world around them and who enjoy learning for life.

If you want to visit the school and discover for yourself what makes it unique, come to our open day on Friday 15th March (9.30am-1pm). Register here
