Popular Post cornishcarlos
So I'm back in U.K doing some courses and thought I'd get a new Nom Imm O based on marriage whilst here. Posted my application off at lunch time last Wednesday (27th Feb). Included along with the application form was my passport, wife's ID photocopy, 2 photos and the required cash (price increases from 1st April). The passport, complete with new visa, arrived at my Mum's place yesterday (2nd March). That's a 1 day turnaround from receiving my application !!! Impressed beyond words ???????? 4
Samuel Smith
Hope they'll still be accepting postal applications after 1st April. Approve on line, then send passport in for stamp. we don't all live in the home counties...
lamyai3
Probably best not to talk it up too much... that's how they cracked down on the consulate in Hull.

There is big difference between a embassy and a honorary consulate. Not easy to crack down on a embassy or a official Thai consulate.

In a decade of postal applications for long stay visas made to Hull, Birmingham and Cardiff, I always assumed they were something akin to sub-offices of the embassy in London.
