lordblackader
No, the 90 days starts again from when you return to the country.
sfokevin
As a side note... If you have a TM30 and you leave and return to Thailand you both have 24 hours upon return to notify immigration of your return... This is easily done at immigration on the 2nd floor... trainman34014
Chiang Mai Immigration will allow up to five WORKING days to report for TM30, especially if you return on a weekend. The 24hr rule is written but not adhered to.
EricTh
The 90 days is reset to 0 everytime you leave the country. It starts counting again when you reenter the country .

The 24 hour limit is too ridiculous, if we have a long flight back , all we need after getting off the plane is just to go back to our hotel and sleep. If you are staying at a hotel it is their obligation to report your residence at their hotel, not for you to do the reporting. Staying in your own property is a different matter.
