You were right to refuse. If the man  wants erectile dysfunction medication he can get it himself at any clinic. As per the US FDA;

U.S. Citizens: In most circumstances, it is illegal for individuals to import drugs or devices into the U.S. for personal use because these products purchased from other countries often have not been approved by FDA for use and sale in the U.S. For example, a drug approved for use in another country but not approved by FDA would be considered an unapproved drug in the U.S. and, therefore, illegal to import

Thailand's viagra versions are not approved for use in the USA (nor Canada, nor the EU for that matter.) and with good reason. This class is one of the most popular of counterfeit products. Most of the  ED type drugs sold without a script in Thailand are counterfeit, so it is likely that you will not have a safe product if you do not purchase from a reputable pharmacy.

If a US  border agent wanted to be difficult he/she could if you were found carrying a discretionary foreign drug without a prescription. Not worth the risk. Tell your pal to take a trip to Mexico if he is that desperate.

So your friend wanted you to smuggle vigra for him because he is to cheap to buy it online from one of the many US sites that will hook you up with a prescription or embarrassed to ask his doctor for it?

Ask Rush Limbaugh what happens when caught by US Customs, he has plenty of money and influence. How about you?. You are already suspect by authority figures as a sex trafficker and pedophile simply being a male who visited Thailand. They could ruin your life. You made the right choice. By the way sidentifil is an easily manufactured drug, nothing wrong with the generics from Thailand or India is available over the counter in the UK.

thanks, I was surprised, (not from this forum) that a few other people I asked thought it would be no big deal.  As one person told me, he's not your friend if he just needs you to do something for him

A friend of mine lost what he thought was a good friend doing this.  His friend who used to live in Thailand asked him to bring 10 Kamagra 4 tablet packs to him in the US.   My friend agreed but pointed out that if they were found and confiscated, he would expect to still be reimbursed the cost.

Sure enough, he was spot checked at JFK and they were easily found and confiscated.  My friend had wisely made no attempt to conceal them as that can make things worse.

His so called friend was angry he hadn't tried to hide them and refused to reimburse the cost.

End of friendship.

By the way, it;s not going to change my decision, but I happened to run into an ex customs agent in pattaya that worked at LAX airport, said they generally don't care about that stuff, but I'm not doing it anyway
