Donsak police arrested two men in a white pick-up on Tuesday as they attempted to cross over to Koh Samui on the Raja Ferry.

The men were acting suspiciously when questioned and their vehicle had no licence plates.

They said they were on their way from Nakorn Sri Thammarat to the holiday island.

The cops soon found forty vials of heroin weighing 119 grams under the driver's console.

They said that had been contacted by a friend called "Beam" to deliver the drugs for 15,000 baht.

They picked up the heroin that was left by a power pole beside the road in the Khanom area.

They have both been charged with possessing a Class 1 drug with intent to sell.

I was impressed with the headline that they caught two bad guys as usually one or more get away. Then I read they were on a ferry.

Perhaps there's a third, still clinging to the side of the ferry?

hap·less

Dictionary result for hapless

/ˈhapləs/

adjective
  1. (especially of a person) unfortunate.

    Meh, seems like moronic.

I had the same reaction - hapless is whimsy; class A drugs are not whimsy.
