Hello, post 28

Completely agree with you Geisha, between dishes, frozen fish, thawed, refrozen, chicken legs in a tray, bathed in tasteless liquid, fat meat, chopped since yesterday, kids who put their fingers in cream cakes, there would be to say on the markets and supermarkets.
As for restaus or gargotes, I prefer to refrain from describing them.
There would be too much to say.
To say that farangs are ecstatic about hygiene and taste "to fall to the ground", as some say, Thai restoration.
I do not know what they eat and where they eat at home, but it does not have to be pretty, pretty.

The only means of detecting food that has been irradiated is from the fact that the bacteria has been killed. It doesn't leave any trace of radioactivity.

I do agree, it is a safe process for use, to increase food safety and "shelf life", when maintained and operated as per spec.   There is the catch...the local fraternity's are not much for rules, regulations, or accountability...

There are plenty of papers available, from both sides of the table.

"free radicals kill some bacteria, but they also bounce around in the food, damage vitamins and enzymes, and combine with existing chemicals (like pesticides) in the food to form new chemicals, called unique radiolytic products (URPs)".

Thankfully, we are in a country with stringent pesticide and fertilizer chemical regulations........ (sarcasm alert)

I am talking about Thonglor (ever heard what happened to Soi 38?), Onnut, Ramkhamhaeng.

Maybe i cannot find food cos you have eaten it all?

Soi 38 was falang oriented and overated. Nowadays there are so many Pop up markets everywhere its pathetic. I just had the best Chicken Noodle Soup at a Pop up market, nomnomnom.

And to you food paranoics: You are gonna die no matter what you put in your slobbering gob.

The same folks here criticizing cheap food are the ones trying to negotiate on Beach Road for a 500 bahter.

I seem to spend all day talking about sex and prostitutes and lose the urge to participate in real life  and then have to go and buy some Viagra

Stay off the other Board then. You know which one.
