Tablet recommendations

Recommended Posts

Gday All,

My old iPad mini has just about karked it so I'm looking to get a new one. I no longer have an iPhone so I'll be going android this time to allow me to transfer stuff from my android phone.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent 8" tablet.

I read a lot of ebooks so ease of viewing is a must and just general everyday browsing.

I'm not a gamer unless you count a game of euchre when I'm bored.

I'm not wanting to spend a fortune so around $400 AU is my limit.

Cheers

Samsung Galaxy S4.  Look at the screen.   10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED panel
16:10 aspect ratio.  Takes a sim card.  Take a look at the screen before you buy anything else.

Make sure at least 32gb plus slot for extra memory

Huawei T3. Quicker, cheaper then the Samsung and can take more beating. Already have 32 or 64Gb memory. With or without sim.

It's your lucky day.

I've got a Sony Z tablet for sale.

2gb ram. Can connect up to tv via mhl adapter that comes with it. So it's like android tv box functionality.

Thin and light. With 32sd card

It's up on bahtsold.com  for 4,800 if your interested.

Galaxy tablets are ok.

Avoid the Chinese copy crap. They are slow especially after a few apps on it.

Im no expert and it may have changed now .. but Ipads had no SD card extra memory addition capability. Last time I looked in store anyway.

Ipads came in various prices mostly according to their fixed memory.

All Samsung have slots .. to add micro SD cards so you can never run out of memory .. just change the micro SD card,
