Kjglen
Hi all, I had an operation at Samitivej around 6 months ago and they did a HIV test before it (I consented to it). I am just thinking now, I never actually had the results. Do they actually tell you the results? I am guessing they only would if it was positive? Thanks in advance

KhunKenAP
You can bet that the cost was on your bill. Your right is to get the results at least.

OneMoreFarang
Maybe they didn't want to give you the bad news before you paid the bill. ????
BestB
Yes, this test is normal procedure prior to a surgery .after they ran all tests , you had a doctor come to see you to confirm all details . Usually or I should say typically that doctor goes over the results. If you had anything he would have mentioned it.
Sheryl
Yes, they would have said something if positive, and they usually don't mention the HIV test as it is almost always negative as expected, but if in doubt just ask for a copy of your medical records.
