A truck carrying gas tanks has overturned in Rayong causing several small blasts and a fire.

FM 91 Traffic Pro reports that fire fighters were notified of the incident yesterday in Wangjan, Rayong, south-east of Bangkok.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a six wheeler truck overturned on the side of the road with small domestic gas tanks scattered all over the roadside.

As the truck is facing the wrong way he must have spun it, why can't they employ careful drivers to do gas, fuel deliveries etc?

Oh, bad timing for me. I only replaced my empty gas tank yesterday, and in Rayong.   Could have got a couple for free. 😃

Reminds me of an accident that happened many years ago in central Bangkok, a truck carrying gas bottles was involved in an accident, the bottles ignited, end result was, if I remember correctly 263 dead - quite horrendous !

if they could have collided with the truck that overturned carrying the 14 buffaloes there could have been a BBQ.

Who asked what could go wrong they  are only  gas canisters, a fire in an adjoining  factory unit some years ago  caused an issue, it was mentioned to the head firefighter that 4 or 5 gas cylinders were stored there, an immediate halt took place and a different take took place, there was an almighty bang and the next day 2 fields away the top section of a cylinder was found peeled like a banana, so to who ever asked what could go wrong, not much.👨‍🚀
