Why arent Pattaya expats as close ?

A majority of the expats in Pattaya are a bunch of miserable jerks with very poor social skills and are best avoided.  That being said, when I lived there I made a few really good friends and remain friends to this day despite not living there anymore.

Not at all.  There are some good people here, but the vast majority of expats in Pattaya are miserable jerks.  That is why the expat community here is not that close.  Who wants to hang around with these people and get sucked into their misery and negativity?

Lived 15+ years in Pattaya.

Did some voluntary work (French library) at the Father Ray foundation.

But I am not a really social guy.

I don't like sport, don't un derstand English Humor, mostly even don't understand the English spoken.

The French speaking community is not my cup of tea either.

70+ and staying actually in Thonglor(Bangkok) now.

Different people and

mostly I am the only farang, in day-time, in all Sukhumvit 55.

Suits me.
