Chao Phraya river bridge in Uthai Thani 85 percent complete

UTHAI THANI, 18 March 2019 (NNT) - Thailand’s Minister of Transport Arkhom Termpittayapaisith has presided over a ceremony relating to the construction of a bridge connecting Chai Nat and Uthai Thani. The bridge, crossing Chao Phraya River, will shorten trips between the two provinces by more than 25 kilometers.

Sacks of meth pills found in Lampang woods

Police seized 140,000 methamphetamine pills packed in fertilizer sacks that has been left for collection in a wooded area in Lampang's Mueang district on Sunday afternoon, Khelang Nakhon superintendant Pol Colonel Sopon Polkantha said on Monday, as his team revealed their find prior to sending the drugs out for forensic testing.
