Rescue services were called to the Grand Night Plaza market in Uthai district of Ayuthaya yesterday after an Indian man was found dead slumped against his car.

Thirty six year old Rupert Crinbaretto (name transliterated from Thai) had been dead about 4 to 5 hours.

His corpse was found by Panupong Phasukphan, 33, who said he had seen the victim sitting in that position for some time but when he didn't move he went to investigate.

Daily News reported that the dead man was an Indian national who was an engineer at the Rojana Industrial Estate. He had been going to the market to eat.

His body was sent for an autopsy at Thammasat Chalermprakiat Hospital in Pathum Thani.

It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack, commented Uthai police.
