Woman crushed under a truck, two others injured, truck speeds away, Kata Hill

A motorbike driver has died after slipping on oil spilled on the road. The woman fell off the motorbike and was crushed by a water truck in Kata last night. Two others motorists also sustained injuries. Police are searching for the truck driver.

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - The Dutch government will lose its majority in the Senate after provincial elections on Wednesday, preliminary results showed, as voters flocked to a new populist party two days after a possible terrorist attack in the city of Utrecht.

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Thursday that military style semi-automatics and assault rifles will be banned under stronger new gun laws following the killing of 50 people in the country's worst mass shooting.

Robber who held up 7-Eleven was starving after eating plain rice for seven days

An out of work man in Nakorn Sawan said he held up a 7-Eleven store earlier in the week because he was hungry.

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation reports that the head of Khao Phra Thaeo Non-Hunting Area, Pongchart Chueahom, has checked in to see the progress of a baby flying lemur and injured slow loris which are being treated at the Department’s wildlife facility.

A female motorbike driver has died while a male car driver has sustained injuries after a second car driver fell asleep at the wheel in Thalang crashing into them.

Fisherman hooks old man (with young wife) on his way home
